These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the The Recovery Dept.™ website and the purchase of products from us. By placing an order, you agree to these terms.
The Recovery Dept.™ is operated by Reni Brands Pty Ltd (ABN 123 456 789), Epping, VIC, Australia. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
We take care to ensure product descriptions, ingredient lists, and images are accurate. However, minor variations may occur between product batches. If a product materially differs from its description, you are entitled to a remedy under the ACL.
All products are for topical external use only. They are cosmetic products and are not TGA-registered therapeutic goods. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have a medical condition, consult a healthcare professional before use.
All prices are displayed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST (10%) where applicable under the A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999. Prices are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of your order confirmation is the price you pay.
An order placed on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including if a product is out of stock or if there is a pricing error. If we cancel your order, you will receive a full refund.
Payment is processed securely via our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your card details. By providing payment information, you confirm you are authorised to use that payment method.
We dispatch orders within 2 to 3 business days from our warehouse in Epping, VIC. Estimated delivery times after dispatch:
These are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers or circumstances outside our control. Risk of loss passes to you once the order is dispatched.
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
In addition to your ACL rights, we offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason, contact us within 30 days of receipt at [email protected] and we will arrange a refund or exchange.
For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of opened products unless they are defective. Return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns are at the customer's expense.
All products contain botanical and active ingredients. We strongly recommend performing a patch test before full application, particularly if you have sensitive skin or known allergies. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm and wait 24 hours before use.
Full ingredient lists are available on each product page. If you have a known allergy to any listed ingredient, do not use the product. We are not liable for adverse reactions resulting from failure to read ingredient lists or perform a patch test.

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
